FLV - Flash Video
FLV (Flash Video) was the video format used by sites like YouTube and Google Video in the late 2000s, before they switched to MP4/H.264. Adobe ended Flash support in December 2020, and FLV files are now rare. Use VLC Media Player to play them on macOS.
What File Juicer does with FLV files
File Juicer recognises FLV files by their file header when the extension is missing. This is useful for files recovered from old browser caches or archives where files are stored without their original extensions.
