PPT - PowerPoint Presentations

PowerPoint Presentations can contain images and sounds which File Juicer can extract as ordinary image and sound files. You could use Microsoft Office to open these files, but in many cases, the presentation is a slideshow of interesting images collected via email and on the web. Then, it is better to extract the images and show them with iPhoto or Preview.

To do this, you drop the .PPT file on File Juicer and it will extract the images and save them in a folder ready for viewing, emailing, being imported into iPhoto.

If the PPT file is a real presentation and you wish to use it as such, you can take a look at iWork from Apple. It is often included as a demonstration version with new Macs.

How to Play Images as a SlideShow Without PowerPoint

Select Two Images1) Select the images by clicking down the mouse and dragging over the images you want to play as a slide show. You can also select each image one at a time if you hold down the shift key.

Select Two Images2) Open the "Action" (gear) menu and pick Slideshow.
Select Two Images3) You can control how the slide show is presented at the bottom of the screen.
