MOV, QT, MP4 - QuickTime Movies
MOV, QT and MP4 are QuickTime container formats that File Juicer can extract from other files. Movies can be embedded in PDF files, Word documents and Keynote presentations.
QuickTime files can themselves contain other formats,MPEG is one example, but usually the movie data is the native format and does not contain any of the file types File Juicer recognises.
QuickTime VR movies can contain images in JPEG format - the images the panorama is assembled from.
M4A is an MP4 file containing only audio.
Repair of damaged movies
File Juicer does not extract damaged QuickTime movies. The movie data and the metadata describing it must both be intact, as the metadata functions as a key to the rest of the data.
Before attempting manual repair, try Aero Quartet's Movie Repair Service.
